Movie Review -- Letters to Juliet

Yesterday, we went to the movie, Letters to Juliet. My mother, who rarely sees movies even recommended this. "No swearing, no nudity, good clean movie" is essentially it.
"Letters to Juliet" is centred about 2 women; Claire and Sophie, and their quest for love.

In the city of Verona, Italy, there is a shrine set up to Juliet from the famed play "Romeo and Juliet". There is a wall to which women come from around the world to leave letters for Juliet. The Secretaries of Juliet write a reply for each of them. Sophie stumbled upon this and ended up helping to write letters. She found one buried behind a stone that had been written in 1957, and sent a reply. This reply spurred the writer to return to Verona and Italy in search of her lost love. To see if she could find him. In the end, both women find a great love. Sophie realizes that her fiance is an idiot and finds an unlikely suitor, while Claire, played by Vanessa Redgrave, finds her love.

Vanessa Redgrave is superb in this flick. Yes this is a chick flick. Yes I took hubby to this movie and no, he did not hate it.
